Grand Opening Concert
7 pm Friday 20th May
The International Composers Festival 2022 opens with the very best in beautiful and exciting music. Pieces were carefully chosen from hundreds of entries, performed in the presence of most composers who are travelling from all corners of the world.
Featuring the premiere of Polo Piatti's 'Old World Concerto' for Violoncello and Orchestra, performed by virtuoso cellist Tim Posner together with the International Festival Orchestra, conducted by maestro Daniel W. Boothe.

Small Is Beautiful
A Special Concert with Music for Soloists and Instrumental Ensembles
11 am Saturday 21st May
International, local soloists and ensembles perform music, including world premieres, by musicians from around the world in a relaxed morning atmosphere.

A Concert of Music for Film,
TV and Computer Games
7 pm Saturday 21st May
The International Festival Orchestra performs thrilling music from film, TV and computer games.
Conducted by maestro Daniel W. Boothe.

Family Concert
4 pm Sunday 22nd May
1 pm - 2.30 pm Open Rehearsal
Specially commissioned 'Symphonic Dances' from around the world with a true international spirit, choreographed and performed by professional dance companies and local dance schools. This very special concert culminates with the performance of 'The Way Of Light' by festival patron Nigel Hess, featuring young star Eleanor Grant, actor John Watts, the International Festival Choir and Festival Orchestra, all under the baton of Daniel W. Boothe.
