SARAH THURLOW (21st Sept.)
Virtuoso clarinetist Sarah Thurlow to world-premiere Polo Piatti's major work.

Sarah is an incredible instrumentalist that combines impeccable technique with extraordinary musicality. She will be one of three very special soloists to be premiering 'The Impossible Pieces' by British-Argentine composer Polo Piatti. Sarah is a graduate of the Royal College Music, Aspen Music School in the US and the Scuola Internazionale di Perfezionamento Musicale in Italy.
OLIVER POOLE (22nd & 23rd Sept.)
We are very excited to officially announce that piano virtuoso Oliver Poole will be attending the festival in 2018. To celebrate the occasion of his first appearance at the festival, Oliver will be performing his wonderful composition 'Altitude'.

CARLOS SALOMON (22nd & 23rd Sept.)
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the great Mexican composer Carlos Salomon will be attending the Festival in 2018. Carlos is a master composer who has been invited to participate at the ICF for the second time, after his great success in 2015! PAUL LEWIS (21st & 22nd Sept.)
Great composer and conductor Paul Lewis has been commissioned to write the theme for the Composers Festival! Paul wrote his first score for a major British TV drama at the age of twenty, and for five and a half decades has produced an unending stream of orchestral and instrumental TV scores, production library music and concert works.
